The Venue
Countryside calm, close to Belfast
Brackengarth is located just six miles south of Belfast, offering uninterrupted countryside views in a peaceful rural setting while remaining straightforward for guests to reach from the city and surrounding areas.
On-site or elsewhere, always seamless
Ceremonies may be held on site beneath a separate stretch tent within the grounds, creating an outdoor setting that remains sheltered and thoughtfully styled. The aisle is lined with candles and floral displays set on rustic tree stumps, leading to a signing table and floral backdrop at the top.
Couples are equally welcome to marry elsewhere and arrive at Brackengarth to begin their reception celebrations.
The Tipis
The tipis are designed for larger celebrations, creating a warm and atmospheric space for dining, speeches and dancing. As evening falls, soft lighting, candles and chandeliers transform the space, allowing the celebration to continue naturally into the night.
Brackengarth House
For smaller weddings of up to 50 guests, Brackengarth House offers a newly renovated country house setting with a main reception room, a cosy sitting room for guests and overnight accommodation on site.
Thoughtful, not overdone
Styling is a defining feature of Brackengarth. Lighting, florals, candles and décor are all included and carefully chosen to complement the space, the season and the overall feel of each celebration, creating an atmosphere that is warm, relaxed and quietly refined.
Fire pits and festoon lights
As the evening sets in, outdoor fire pits are lit and festoon lighting glows across the grounds. Guests often gather with marshmallows or s'mores, creating a relaxed and memorable end to the day.
